What is Puzzico?
Puzzico is a free five-letter word game. You get six guesses to find the hidden word, with a shared Daily puzzle and an Unlimited practice mode. No account, no download.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and you do not need an account or any sign-up to play. Your progress is stored anonymously in your own browser.
What do the symbols under each letter mean?
A blue check (✓) means the letter is correct and in the right place. A copper arrow (↔) means the letter is in the word but in a different spot. A grey dash (−) means there is no remaining match for that letter. The symbols always show, so you never have to rely on colour alone.
Why does it say “Not in our word list”?
That message means the five letters you entered are not a word the game accepts. Puzzico only takes real dictionary words as guesses — it rejects random letters. Try a common English word such as CRANE, HOUSE or AUDIO and it will be accepted and scored.
Can the same letter appear more than once?
Yes. Words like APPLE or LEVEL repeat a letter. Each ✓ or ↔ uses one matching copy of a letter in the answer, so a grey tile can mean “no more copies,” not necessarily “not in the word.”
What is the difference between Daily and Unlimited?
Daily is one shared puzzle per day that changes at 00:00 UTC, with its own streak and stats. Unlimited gives you a fresh practice word every time you finish one, with separate stats and no effect on your Daily streak.
Is my progress saved, and does it sync across devices?
Your games and stats are saved to the browser you play in, tied to an anonymous cookie. They do not sync between different browsers or devices, and clearing your browser data removes them.
How is the daily word chosen?
The daily word is drawn from Puzzico’s own independently compiled answer list. It is not copied from any other word game’s schedule, and the answer is never sent to your browser before the game ends.

No. Puzzico is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other word game or its publisher. Our brand, interface and word list are our own.
