How Puzzico is written.
A short, honest account of who writes this site, how we keep it accurate, and how to tell us when something’s wrong.
Who writes it
The guides, tips, FAQ and tools here are written by Jack Shi, who builds and runs Puzzico (operated by clooms). It’s a solo, independent project — there’s no ghost-written “expert team,” and we don’t claim credentials we don’t have. When we say something works, it’s from actually building and playing the game.
How we keep it accurate
- The game rules described in the guides match the code that runs the game — scoring, repeated letters, the daily reset — not a generic template.
- The word lists come from a single dictionary source (an-array-of-english-words, MIT) processed by a build script, so every list on the site is generated from the same data — no page is hand-edited to disagree with another.
- No invented numbers. We don’t publish made-up statistics, user counts, or “studies show” claims. Strategy advice is framed as experience, not fake data.
- Answers stay honest. The daily word is never revealed before a game ends, and the archive only lists days that have already passed.
Corrections & feedback
Found a word that shouldn’t be accepted, a rule that reads wrong, or a bug? Tell us through the feedback form. We read every note and fix genuine issues.
Independence
Puzzico is an independent game and is not affiliated with any other word game or its publisher. Brand names are mentioned only to describe the style of game. More in About.
